- LOCATION: Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia
3.0 BACKGROUND: The existing Public Address (PA) System at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) and its supported Branch Clinics consists of legacy equipment installed or modernized at various times throughout the facilities. The PA system serving Building 3 may have been installed as part of the building’s original construction and commissioning in 1959. However, government records confirming the exact acquisition, installation, modernization, or replacement dates for these systems are not available.
