Note ***** Amendment to extend the RFI closing date to January 31, 2024*****
The CRA is seeking feedback from various industry stakeholders, including but not limited to Indigenous businesses, small and medium enterprises (SME), to better understand how the secure document destruction industry operates, which regions within Canada they can service off-site and the challenges that would prevent them in submitting a bid in response to the future RFP.
KEY OBJECTIVES
The purpose of the RFI is to:
1) Solicit feedback from industry on operational and security capabilities and practices for secure document destruction as detailed in Annex A, Statement of Work of RFI attachment entitled ”Attachment A - Sample RFP”; and
2) Solicit feedback on the sample Annex A, statement of work, Attachment 1 and 2 evaluation criteria and Attachment 3, Financial Proposal of the RFI attachment entitled ”Attachment A - Sample RFP” to ensure that the CRA receives responsive bid(s) and reduce potential problems when the eventual RFP is posted.
Responses to this RFI must be submitted using one of these two formats:
Option 1 – Written Responses:
The responses to questions in writing must be submitted by email to the Contracting Authority by the closing date in the order shown. The CRA requests that all sections of this document be answered as concisely as possible. The CRA requests that any response that deviates from the question or requirements, or that cannot be satisfied by the supplier, be clearly identified. Any information of a confidential or proprietary nature contained in a supplier’s response should be clearly marked ‘PROPRIETARY’ or ‘CONFIDENTIAL’ by item or at the top of each page. After reviewing all of the submitted responses, additional information may be requested from individual respondents by the Contracting Authority. This request could be made by email or by an invitation to a virtual session.
OR
Option 2: Verbal responses
Respondents must request a virtual individual session to provide verbal responses, this request must be made by email to the Contracting Authority, before the RFI closing date. Respondents will be contacted to schedule an individual session. CRA will use desktop audio video conferencing tools such as WebEx or Microsoft Teams to conduct individual sessions. The CRA reserves the right to request additional information from the respondent during the session.
It is recommended that all electronic submissions contain a read receipt option to confirm that the email was received.
Respondents are requested to provide a contact name, email address and telephone number when submitting their response.
