The State of Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is soliciting professional architectural and engineering services to relocate the Northville Forensic Lab program to the Detroit Public Safety Headquarters located at 1301 3rd Street, Detroit, Michigan. This project involves the planning and execution of the relocation, including the management of critical laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, PCR systems, and robotic equipment. The scope of work encompasses multiple phases, requiring 50% and 90% design reviews for phases 100 through 500, bi-weekly construction progress meetings, and strict adherence to OSHA biohazard and chemical hazard regulations, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the State of Michigan Construction and Energy Codes.
