Failure to comply with BC Bid requirements is at the supplier’s own risk and BC Hydro does not assume any responsibility for the consequences of such non-compliance, including the supplier’s inability to submit a response to this or any other BC Hydro opportunity. *** Opportunity Details ***This RFP is for one or more Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) contracts that generally includes supply of fabricated steel tower and/or pole components for both transmission overhead line supporting structures and telecommunication antenna supporting structures, and the supply of un-galvanized (black) steel for fabrication of steel tower components, that meet BC Hydro standards and specifications, industry standards and code requirements, on an as and when required basis, throughout the Province of British Columbia. A Supplier awarded an MSA will be issued work via a Work Authorization Contract for the applicable services.The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of 5 years, which may be extended for up to 8 years through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of 13 years.This procurement may involve negotiation.This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
