The Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District is soliciting bids for the construction of a new 45' x 30' storage building located at 15901 Country Club Dr., Kincheloe, MI. This project is a stipulated sum, single-prime contract that includes the provision of temporary facilities, site controls, and full site restoration upon completion. The contractor is responsible for all construction means, methods, and safety programs, and must ensure that no products containing hazardous materials such as lead, asbestos, or formaldehyde are used. Final completion of the project is required by December 1, 2026, with work permitted from sunrise to sunset, Monday through Saturday. Bids must be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope to the EUP ISD office in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, no later than 11:00 AM EDT on September 11, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for September 2, 2026. To be considered, bidders must provide a bid bond of at least 5% of the bid price, along with required performance and payment bonds. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Required documentation for submission includes the AIA Form 00 41 13 Bid Form, a Familial Relationship Disclosure Form, and an Iran Business Certification Form. All bids must include applicable federal and State of Michigan taxes and remain irrevocable for thirty days from the closing date.
