SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter§2269 Subchapter D, Competitive Sealed Proposal Method, and Rules andProcedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is solicitingproposals for prime construction services for Project 22-016-2540, Departmentof Public Safety’s Florence Tactical Training Center K-9 Kennel. ESTIMATED BUDGET: The estimated construction budget for theservices described in the Request for Proposal (RFP) is two million eighthundred twenty thousand dollars ($2,820,000.00). CONTRACT TERM:Construction is required to commence within fourteen (14) calendar days afterthe Notice to Proceed is issued. The construction period is projected for aterm of three hundred (300) calendar days except as may be otherwise amended ornegotiated. . PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Provide all materials, equipment, labor, coordination and supervisoryactivities necessary to complete construction of the project as more fullydescribed in the Attachment D – Project Manual, and Attachment E –Project Drawings, which include specifications, drawings, and othercontract documents, prepared by the A/E of record, Parkhill Smith and Cooper,and TFC. NOTE: All Respondents interested in getting access to the drawings forthis solicitation must fill out Attachment H - Confidentiality andNon-Disclosure Agreement and submit to the Purchaser at robert.sonnier@tfc.texas.gov. MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL TELECONFERENCES: Mandatorypre-submittal teleconferences will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 1:00PM and Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
