This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Marine Atlantic Inc. (“MAI”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Thickness Testing, on an as-required basis, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”). The Contractor will provide Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Thickness Testing, on an as-required basis, on Marine Atlantic’s (MAI) current fleet of vessels listed below, and any future vessels MAI may acquire, if applicable: Leif Ericson Highlanders Ala’Suinu Blue Puttees MAI requires services to provide that capability as the need arises. The work is often instigated from repairs found under survey not from planned modifications or upgrades and as such is unpredictable. MAI requires that a notice period is agreed upon for the services to be provided as these requirements arise.  Bidding and Documents are available on http://www.merx.com.
