The Grosse Pointe Public School System is soliciting bids for the North and South High School Interior Renovations and Exterior Tennis Courts Reconstruction project, identified as GPPSS – BP#1 – Summer 2027. This comprehensive construction effort is divided into fourteen distinct bid categories, including selective demolition, concrete, general trades, metal studs, drywall, ceilings, flooring, painting, manufactured casework, auditorium seating, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, sitework, utilities, and tennis surface coating. The project is scheduled for performance in Summer 2027 at locations within Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically via Building Connected by 12:00 PM on November 4, 2026. To be considered, submissions must include a bid security of at least 5% of the total base bid sum, a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement in compliance with MCL 380.1267, and a notarized certification that the bidder is not an Iran linked business. While the lowest financial bid is a primary consideration, the School District Board of Education maintains absolute discretion to award the contract to another bidder.
