The contract involves the removal and replacement of approximately 15,000 square feet of roofing on the WPCP Maintenance Building, with the contractor responsible for verifying exact dimensions. The project entails stripping the existing roof down to the concrete decking, then installing a new white TPO roofing system that will be fully adhered with glue, along with matching insulation of the same thickness and taper. All skylights will be removed and patched over with fire-rated plywood, leaving the underside of the skylights unpatched, which will result in existing holes in the concrete deck remaining unsealed. Proper flashing will be used around all roof penetrations and transitions to ensure durability and water-tightness. The contractor is required to provide a manufacturer’s warranty of at least 20 years. The project is based on a provided sketch, with no additional plans specified. The solicitation was posted in September 2025, with a response deadline in October 2025, and the estimated project cost ranges from $150,000 to $300,000.
