Wayne RESA is seeking comprehensive waste removal and recycling services across multiple facilities in Wayne County, Michigan, including the Education Center, Early Childhood Center, Burger Baylor School, and Annex Building, with potential expansion to other locations defined in the Regional Map. The contract operates under a statewide cooperative purchasing program through CoPro+, allowing other Michigan public entities to “piggyback” on the awarded agreement, functioning as an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity arrangement despite not being formally labeled as such. Services include the provision and maintenance of waste and recycling containers ranging from 2 to 40 cubic yards, adherence to fixed Monday-through-Friday pickup schedules, proper placement according to designated dumpster maps, and prompt resolution of service issues. Contractors must ensure all containers are clean, structurally sound, vermin-proof, and compliant with local noise and environmental ordinances, while also assuming full responsibility for transportation, disposal, and handling costs.
