The County Commissioners of Kent County, Maryland are requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the rehabilitation of the Butlertown Water Tank, in accordance with Chapter 49 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County (CPLL). The Butlertown Water Tank is an ellipsoidal water sphere constructed in 2009 with a 250,000-gallon capacity. The tank is part of the Worton Water Service Area, which also includes a second 125,000-gallon storage tank located at the Worton Water Treatment Plant. An inspection was performed by Mumford-Bjorkman Associates, Inc. on April 30, 2024, and the inspection report and photographs are included as an appendix to the RFP.
