The Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC) is looking for a qualified audio contractor to provide comprehensive audio services for its quarterly Board meetings, aimed at facilitating effective communication. The SNC oversees 24 counties in California’s Sierra Nevada region and is committed to promoting environmental stewardship. This contract outlines the need for high-quality audio equipment and satellite internet to support the Board's strategic discussions and community engagement efforts. Key responsibilities for the contractor include supplying a range of audio equipment such as wireless microphones for board members and staff, a podium microphone for public comments, and a soundboard with various features like feedback suppression. Additionally, the contractor is tasked with recording the meetings, providing internet service via a Starlink satellite connection, and utilizing experienced technicians to manage the audio setup at different locations throughout the Sierra Nevada region. The contract is set from February 19, 2025, through December 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension until the end of 2027, aligning with SNC’s commitment to maintaining effective communication channels throughout its extensive geographical area.
