Bruce Hall, circa 1911, is a two-story, former administration building for the Hargrove Seminary. During World War I and World War II, it served as part of the United States Navy hospital. After World War II, the Hargrove Seminary was demolished except for Bruce Hall which continued use as a Navy commissary. Currently, it is part of the Monroe County School District used for facilities offices, storage and a one-story maintenance shop added to the rear of the two-story historic structure. The building is listed as a Contributing Resource to the Key West Historic District, listed in the National Register (Florida Master Site File Historical Resources #MO01775) and restorations will need to comply with the Historic Section of the Florida Building Code, Existing Building. Respondents to the solicitation should have knowledge of the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (36 CFR Part 68).
