The Douglasville ¿ Douglas County Water & Sewer Authority (hereafter referred to as the ¿Authority¿) is soliciting quotes from qualified contractors for the demolition of one (1) residential house, one (1) detached garage, and one (1) barn located at 5770 Walton Store Road in Douglasville, Georgia. Quotes will be received by the Authority at its Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134 until 10:00 AM, local time, on September 25, 2024. All quotes should be delivered to the Senior Procurement Specialist at the Authority¿s Administrative Offices, 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134, by the time and date specified above. Quotes shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and mailed or delivered, to be received no later than the above time and date.
A non-mandatory conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the Authority¿s Administrative Offices located at 8763 Hospital Drive, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Immediately following the conference, Offerors will be afforded an opportunity to inspect the facility covered by this Request for Quotes. This facility can also be inspected, by appointment only, throughout the advertisement period.
The work will be performed on property owned by the Authority, and no easements are required for the performance of the work required by this Request for Quotes. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining a demolition permit from Douglas County and paying all associated fees.
The Authority reserves the right to reject all quotes or any quote that is nonresponsive or submitted by a non-responsible Contractor. The Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and informalities in this Request for Quotes and the quotes submitted.
