RFQ-BASIC ORDER AGREEMENT FOR HISTORIC IMPROVEMENT, RENOVATIONS, REPAIRS, AND PRESERVATION

The Fairfax County Park Authority Heritage Conservation Branch is soliciting pre-bid qualifications for a Basic Order Agreement to provide improvement, renovation, repair, and preservation services for its historic properties in Virginia. This on-call contract will operate through task orders with individual project values ranging from 1,000 to 300,000 dollars. The initial contract duration is one year, with the possibility of three additional one-year extensions. Selection will be based on the services provided and the submitted hourly labor rates and materials markups. The procurement follows a two-step process where firms must first be pre-qualified to be eligible for the bidding phase. Minimum requirements for pre-qualification include holding a Virginia Class A contracting license and demonstrating the successful completion of at least three similar historic preservation projects valued between 10,000 and 200,000 dollars within the last seven years. Applicants must also certify they are not debarred from government contracting and prove the ability to obtain necessary performance and payment bonds and insurance.
