RFQ - Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse Window Restoration

Butte-Silver Bow County is soliciting Submittals of Qualifications for a design-build contract to perform the restoration or replacement of approximately 588 individual glazing units across 202 window openings on the four facades of the historic Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse. The project requires a contractor with at least five years of verifiable experience in historic window restoration, specifically adhering to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Preservation, Restoration, Rehabilitation, and Reconstruction and National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 compliance. Qualified firms must provide a workforce consisting of at least 50 percent Montana residents and comply with state prevailing wage rates. The procurement process is a two-phase approach, beginning with a prequalification phase based on a 30-point scoring system that equally weights previous experience, key personnel, and firm information. To be considered, applicants must submit three hard copies and one digital copy of their qualifications by October 1, 2024, at 4:00 PM. Required documentation includes a signed title page, a narrative of previous performance on at least three relevant projects, resumes for key staff, five professional references, and current personnel rate sheets.
