The City of Apopka is seeking Bids from-qualified firms with experience in 'Types of Services on an as needed basis. These services include the replacement and repair of roofs related to storm damages. The selected firm must be qualified to do business in the State of Florida and perform under the laws of the State of Florida. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) contract requirements are mandatory. The intent is to pre-qualify contractors for this work. The initial part of the process is the issuance of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ), which will result in a listing of the qualified contractors who submit a response. Only those qualified Contractors will be invited to submit bids for the Repair and Replacement of roofs throughout the City on an "as needed" basis for an initial contract period of hree (3) years from the date the contract is fully executed, with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options. In addition to any renewal options contained herein, the City has the right to extend any award resulting from this Bid for a period not to exceed six (6) months so the City can have ample time to release, award, and implement a replacement agreement for the commodities and/or contractual services provided in this Bid. Such extension shall be based upon the same prices, terms, and conditions set forth in this Bid. Proposals will be score/ranked using the Proposers qualifications; experience; references; and the responsiveness to the requested scope (as described in the Evaluation Methods Section of this document).
