Work consists of mechanical treatment and/or hand thinning and scattering of approximately 138 acres of vegetation to reduce fuels and brush density. Target mixed-mountain shrubs including oak, serviceberry, mountain mahogany, snowberry, and other shrubs, while maintaining some vegetation in mature stages. Project Location - Approximately 3.3 miles east/southeast of Basalt, Colorado and is restricted to forest system lands. A prebid meeting/site visit will be conducted. Date, time, location will be provided when solicitation is posted. Time for Performance - 120 calendar days from effective date of Notice to Proceed.
