The U.S. Department of Agriculture via its MRP APHIS MRPBS AAMD office is seeking qualified small businesses to provide a truck camper compatible with an 8-foot Ford F250 pickup bed, commonly known as a slide-in or cab-over camper. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified procedures for commercial products using FAR Part 12, with a firm fixed price contract and an estimated value of $30,000. The procurement is exclusively set aside for small businesses, and all responsible vendors may submit quotations. The solicitation will be released on July 3, 2026, with quotations due the same day, and award expected the following day. The required product must meet specific technical specifications, with evaluations based on compliance with requirements, past performance, and pricing, where price will be the deciding factor if all other criteria are equal. Offerors must be registered in SAM.gov and submit responses via email. The contract will include standard FAR Part 12 clauses, and compliance with all procedural requirements is mandatory. The presolicitation is posted on SAM.gov as a public notice under FAR 5.201–5.203 and does not constitute a request for proposals; no responses are due at this stage. The contracting officer for the action is Mario Garcia, reachable by email or phone, with performance expected in Fort Collins, Colorado. The NAICS code 336214 applies, classifying this as travel trailer and camper manufacturing, and the physical address for the contracting office is listed placeholder, though the office operates out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
