REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES RFQ Number: 26-01
The Jackson Redevelopment Authority (JRA) hereby gives notice that it is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified mechanical engineering firms to assess the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system serving Union Station in Jackson, Mississippi; evaluate options for repair, replacement, modernization, and code-compliant operation; prepare an independent cost estimate; and develop technical specifications and procurement-ready documents to support JRA in conducting the proper Federal Transit Administration (FTA) compliant procurement process for the selection of a contractor to replace or substantially upgrade the Union Station HVAC system.
Funding for this project is provided through FTA funds awarded to JRA through the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT). The selected firm must perform the work in a manner that supports JRA’s compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including current FTA third-party contracting guidance, applicable provisions of 2 CFR Part 200, 2 CFR Part 1201, the FTA Master Agreement incorporated into the award, and any MDOT pass-through requirements.
