With this Request for Standing Offer (“RFSO”) Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (“CMHC”) is seeking prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with the evaluation process outlined in Part 2 – Evaluation and Selection for eligibility to provide Housing Research Services in three (3) streams of services.
CMHC is conducting this RFSO to ensure that we have a pool of experts that can undertake high quality research and analysis to contribute to CMHC’s housing research priorities. CMHC’s Corporate Plan is focused on achieving three main outcomes. Ensuring the stability of Canada’s housing finance system; delivering the federal government’s commitments to Canadians; and positioning CMHC to meet Canada’s future housing needs. CMHC will accomplish these outcomes by staying at the forefront of research, data, and insights. In support of this plan, CMHC’s Research Division is focused on five (5) primary areas for research: Housing Supply and Demand, Housing Finance, Housing Needs, Indigenous and Northern Housing, and Building Science & Construction Innovation. As well, it seeks to identify talented researchers with knowledge, experience, and expertise that is transferrable to the housing context in order to build housing research capacity in Canada.
