The US Forest Service, Francis Marion and Sumter National Forests, Francis Marion Ranger District, has a requirement for removal of a damaged rice field trunk and replace it with a new "Combahee style" rice field trunk. Work includes but is not limited to, removal and disposal of the damaged trunk and bulkheads and installation of new rice field trunk, repair damaged bulkheads, and backfill and shape to grade the dike at South Tibwin. Project is located approximately three miles south of McClellanville, SC in Charleston County. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A bid guarantee is not required. A Payment Bonds will be required of the successful offeror. The solicitation will be available on this site, www.fbo.gov, on or about 22 March 2017. A site visit will be held; the time, date, and location will be listed on the solicitation. Correction to above. The incorrect style stated was a "Santee Style" rice field trunk. This has been removed and replace with the correct style of "Combahee Style." Solicitation has been posted. Amendment 1 has been posted. This is the pre-bid sign in sheet and notes.
