The solicitation number is SPE7M1-26-T-197V, with a response deadline of July 23, 2026, and a required delivery date 143 days after award. The item is a restricted source requiring engineering source approval by the government’s design control activity. Suppliers must provide comprehensive documentation per MIL-T-31000 including full manufacturing drawings and specifications, detailed process and operation sheets outlining critical steps and inspection criteria, identification of all sources for critical operations such as forgings and castings, and copies of purchase orders if available. A shock extension report conforming to MIL-S-901 and DI-ENVR-80706 is mandatory. If original equipment manufacturer drawings are unavailable, offerors must submit an engineering analysis report detailing the development process, including reverse engineering methodology, sample count, measurement techniques, compiled data, and justification for dimensional deviations and acceptance criteria. This data will be transmitted to the government’s engineering support activity for review. The delivery location is Tracy, California, with primary point of contact Michael Reese at DLA.
