RING, RETAINING

This contract pertains to the procurement of two retaining rings with NSN 5325-01-705-5595, supplied by RIX INDUSTRIES under part numbers 18923-ITEM-4 and 64-18922, under solicitation SPE4A0-26-T-3664. Delivery is required within five days of award, FOB origin, with zero tolerance for quantity variance, and acceptance occurs at the destination point. All supplies must comply with stringent technical and quality requirements referenced in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, with no special marking permitted. Sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 with zero defect acceptance unless otherwise specified, and attributes are defined with specific verification levels or AQLs. Mercury and mercury compounds are strictly prohibited in the hardware, preservation, packaging, and marking processes, except for approved functional applications such as batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, and naval-specified instruments, which must include secondary containment and meet NAVSEA 5100-003D standards. The items are destined for USS IDAHO (SSN 799), delivered via traceable freight, not parcel post, to the naval base in Groton, Connecticut, with a required delivery date of January 30, 2026. All documentation and supplier approvals must conform to DLA’s SAR and packaging guidelines, and any government identification must be removed from non-accepted items.
