River Road Culvert 2.04 Replacement

The Town of Moretown is soliciting sealed bids for the River Road Culvert 2.04 Replacement Project, a FEMA-funded initiative requiring the installation of a 12-foot-diameter by 90-foot-long corrugated steel pipe culvert. The contractor is responsible for all work including culvert placement, construction of a cast-in-place concrete inlet headwall, a laid-up stone outlet headwall, guardrail installation, paving, and traffic control measures. The Town will deliver the culvert to the site FOB, and bidders must provide payment and performance bonding. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the Moretown Town Office by 11:00 AM on August 27, 2026, with electronic submissions permitted. The bid opening will occur publicly at that time, and award decisions will be reviewed at the Selectboard meeting on September 8, 2026. The project must be completed by November 1, 2026. No pre-bid meeting is planned.
