The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in support of the Laboratory of Immunogenetics (LIG) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition RNA/DNA sequencing services with Qiagen Incorporated, 27220 Turnberry Lane, Valencia, CA 91355-1005. The requirement is for -High yields and optimized procedures that provide ~50% time savings,-Unbiased amplification is required with a high-fidelity amplification step, GeneRead rRNA Depletion Kits are required for low amounts of starting material and must be used for rRNA depletion of 100 ng to 5 ?g total RNA,-Precise size selection of DNA fragments,-GeneRead DNAseq Targeted Panels allow straightforward analysis of genetic variants in a focused panel of genes via NGS. As little as 10 ng DNA is required, which makes GeneRead DNAseq Targeted Panels highly suited for clinical samples,-High-precision, qPCR-based library quantification,-Automated library prep on the QIAcube,-Enterprise-level handling, curating, and interpretation of NGS data. Qiagen has been providing these services for several projects and protocols. Changing vendors at this time may introduce variables that could negatively affect the continuity of results for the projects in the laboratory. This is not a request for proposal. All responsible sources who can provide these services may submit a proposal showing their capabilities and past performance that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether to this requirement is available for competition.
