This is a presolicitation notice for a project located on Prince of Wales Island for a total of approximately 12 miles of road resurfacing on Forest Service land approximately 3 miles south of Naukati, Alaska. The work consists of surfacing 4.7 miles of the 2058 Road as a base item and 7.38 miles of the 2054 Road as an option item. This project includes loading, hauling, placing and compacting 6" finished, compacted lifts of aggregate according to plans and specifications. Work also includes mobilization, road surface prepping, traffic control and safety signage. Crushed aggregate stockpiles are available in the project area.
