ATK Launch Systems Inc., Magna, Utah is being awarded a noncompetitive cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The total value of this contract is $48,247,398. Under this follow on contract, the contractor will provide technical support for all stages of Government Furnished Property (GFP), rocket motors (Trident I (C4), Castor IVA/IVB, Orion, and Orbus 1/1A). ATK will be responsible for motor refurbishment of GFP motors, providing technical support, flight certification, safe handling, transportation, propulsion, propellant/motor component testing, propellant sensitivity studies, aging assessment, storage, demilitarization and other technical support as needed. The work will be performed in Magna, Utah. The performance period is from March 2017 through March 2022. One offer was solicited and one offer was received.
