ROE to PG&E for Vegetation Maintenance PN-012294

The California Department of Parks and Recreation, through the North Coast Redwoods District, is issuing a Right of Entry to Pacific Gas and Electric for vegetation management along the Fruitland 1142 12 kV distribution line located within Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The scope of work involves the trimming of six Coastal Redwoods and one Douglas Fir, as well as the removal of three Coastal Redwoods with a 3-inch DBH and one Madrone with a 20-inch DBH. All activities must adhere to state and federal environmental laws and regulations, including CEQA, NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, and Section 5024 of the Public Resources Code, along with specific conditions set by the Right of Entry and other permitting agencies. This project is categorized under a Class 5, Section 15305 Notice of Exemption for minor land use alterations. Administrative oversight is managed by District Planner Rosalind Litzky.
