The total period of performance is 240 days, with a requirement to complete the work within 100 consecutive business days following the Notice to Proceed. For projects valued at $25,000 or more, a bid bond of 20% of the base bid is required, and the awarded contractor must provide performance and payment bonds from a surety with at least an A- rating. The project is subject to Construction Wage Rate Requirements, necessitating compliance with California prevailing wages and the submission of weekly certified payroll reports.
