Roofing and Siding BOA Sources Sought

ROOFING/SIDING BOA SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This Sources Sought Notice is for market research only. The 65th Contracting Flight, Lajes Field is conducting market research to determine potential sources having the skills, capabilities and experience necessary to perform the described work. No award will be made from this Sources Sought. No solicitations, specifications, or drawings are available; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for potential future acquisitions. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources for a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for use in the areas around and including Air Base 4, Lajes Field, Azores. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining potential sources. Capability Statement: The following requests are designed to apprise the 65th Contracting Flight, Lajes Field, of any prospective roofing and siding contractor's capabilities. Please provide your response to the following. The submission is limited to 5 pages. All responses are to be submitted in English. 1. Offerors name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, DUNS number, CAGE code, and Tax Identification Number. 2. Statement of offerors interest in bidding on a solicitation if/when issued. 3. Offeror's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity and comparable work performed within the past 5 years in this location, brief description of the project(s), customer name(s), timeliness of performance, customer satisfaction, and dollar (Euro) value of the project(s). The capabilities statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a request for proposal or invitation for bid, nor does it restrict the government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statements regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing or developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. All interested contractors should notify this office by email or hand delivered by 10:00 am local time on 24 March 2014. Responses must include sources sought title in the subject line.
