Russian River Integrated Hydrologic Model Support Services

Sonoma County Water Agency is soliciting Statements of Qualifications to build a five-year pre-qualified roster of firms capable of supporting the development and maintenance of an integrated hydrologic model for the Russian River basin. The selected firms will provide technical services related to water supply forecasting, long-term planning, and environmental impact analysis without any guaranteed projects or specific deliverables at this stage. Applicants must demonstrate proven experience in building complex models that link surface and groundwater systems using tools such as GSFLOW, MODFLOW, PRMS, and MODSIM, with particular familiarity with the hydrology of the Russian and Eel Rivers. Key responsibilities include modifying legacy Fortran code, integrating climate change projections into model scenarios, and developing custom scripts for pre- and post-processing data. The contract requires technical expertise in hydrologic modeling and computational analysis, and firms must be prepared to support a wide range of unspecified future tasks under this framework.
