This project is for the removal of two existing corrugated steel culverts on Ryle Creek and replacing them with a structural-plate open bottom arch culvert on a concrete footing. The work includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, erosion control measures, structure excavation, roadway embankment, removing and disposing existing culverts, compaction, riprap, roadway surfacing, furnishing and installing precast concrete foundations, furnishing and erecting a structural-plate arch culvert, and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. This project is located in the Flathead National Forest on National Forest System Road No. 38 (Eastside Reservoir Road) at Mile Post 17.54 in the Hungry Horse Ranger District in Section 6, Township 29 North, Range 17 West, in Flathead County, Montana. This requirement is being solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price Request for Proposal (RFP). The performance period for the completion of the project is no later than September 17, 2015. Proposals are due at 3:00 p.m. MST, September 2, 2014. The estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000.
