The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Eaton Aerospace Corporation for the design, development, and production of Rynglok Universal Tool Kits in support of H-60 aircraft. This procurement is justified under 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 because Eaton Aerospace Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer and the only source with the necessary technical data and specifications to fulfill the requirement. The contract structure consists of a base year and four one-year options, with a total potential procurement of up to 98 tool kits. The base year requires four kits, followed by option quantities of four, 26, 32, and 32 sets for years one through four, respectively. While this notice serves as an intent to solicit on a sole source basis rather than a request for proposals, the government will consider responses within fifteen days of publication to determine if the requirement should be opened to competition.
