SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment and supervision required to accomplish the following: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Remove vegetation for location listed below. All measurements furnished in this scope of work are “approximate? and are for reference only. Actual precise measurements shall be field verified by the contractor. 1. Hwy 24 Bell Fork Rd foot bridge to Wilson Blvd (approximately 6 miles) (see reference map highlighting in green for fence lines) DETAILED REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS: 1. The contractor shall clear vegetation on BOTH sides of the fence line on Hwy 24 (Base property side only). Fence lines are indicated with a green line along highway, per reference map. Fence must be kept clear of visual obstruction such as vines, shrubs, trees, etc. Vegetation in these areas shall be cut not to exceed height of 2 – 4 inches to the ground so that future maintenance can be accomplished with a tractor mower (bush hog). 2. Upon completion of work, there shall be a 20 feet clear zone on the inside perimeter fence and 10 feet outside of fence not to exceed total 30 feet wide. 3. Vegetation that cannot be bush hogged or mowed shall be weed eat. 4. The contractor may remove vegetation that is cut, OR mulch vegetation and discard into surrounding wood line a minimum of 10 feet, ensuring not to leave in piles or discard into drainage ditches. 5. All grounds disturbed within working area shall be repaired by filling with clean topsoil, raking, and reseeding with Coastal Lawn Mix applied at a rate of 50 pounds/acre. 6. Disturbed areas include but are not limited to ruts, holes, gouges, scrapes, scratches and tire tracks. 7. The contractor shall remove all trash within working areas and deposit at Base Landfill. 8.
