The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has authorized 2001 Bellevue LLC to proceed with the construction of a single-family residence and associated structures on property in Yucca Valley, California, under an Incidental Take Permit issued pursuant to Section 1927.3 of the Fish and Game Code. The project includes a 1,500 square foot main dwelling, a 500 square foot attached accessory dwelling unit, a driveway, overhead electrical service, a septic system with leach lines, and water service infrastructure. The permit specifically allows for the incidental take of three western Joshua trees, a species protected under both the Western Joshua Tree Conservation Act and the California Endangered Species Act, as the project footprint will affect these individuals. All development activities are conditioned on compliance with the terms of the permit and applicable environmental regulations. The project is associated with the San Bernardino Countywide Plan and is being managed under the oversight of the City of Yucca Valley, with coordination through the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Primary contact for municipal planning matters is Jared Jerome, Planner, while Kevin Francis, Environmental Scientist with CDFW, serves as the environmental compliance point of contact. The permit was officially posted on July 24, 2026, and the project is located within Yucca Valley, California, with no set-aside or NAICS code specified in the public record. The permit ensures that the project can proceed while mitigating impacts to protected vegetation through regulatory authorization and adherence to conservation standards.
