The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement; minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS are on file in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Scott County; the LSBP Engineer’s office at 660 Katherine Drive, Suite 302, Flowood, MS 39232; and the Office of the State Aid Engineer, 412 E. Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson, MS.  This project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the MS Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. The Plans and Specifications may also be viewed at Central Bidding @ www.centralbidding.com under Scott County.  Sealed bids shall be submitted in person as required per the Contract Documents or on-line via Central Bidding. Bidder responsible for all fees associated with electronic bidding.  Bidder shall include ALL PARTS of the Contract Documents.  A stripped proposal is considered as an irregular bid and will be rejected.
