The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from Contractors for the LAWRENCEVILLE PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS 2026. Sealed bids will be received by the Lawrenceville Finance Office,70 S. Clayton Street, Main Level, Room M46A, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046 until 2:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, September 17, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after 2:00 P.M. will not be accepted. Bid envelope should be marked on the outside with Bid Number, name of Bidder, date and time of opening. The work to be performed by the General Contractor and consist of but is not limited to the following major items: ¿ TRAFFIC CONTROL for both vehicular and pedestrians following the latest MUTCD and GDOT standards. ¿ EROSION CONTROL BMP¿s including mulch, temporary grassing, silt fence, and sodding. ¿ SITE WORK including clearing & grubbing, remove and replace existing signs, grading and excavation. ¿ CONCRETE PAVING including construct concrete curb & gutter, construct 4¿ thick sidewalk, 8¿ thick driveway, and ADA ramps. ¿ THERMOPLASTIC STRIPING. ¿ 42¿ HANDRAIL. ¿ Site clearing, demolition and haul-off. ¿ The equipment and materials to be furnished by the Contractor will be installed at the locations shown on the Drawings and as described in the respective section of these specifications. ¿ All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. ¿ The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation, shall govern the construction of this project. Copies of the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained from the Lawrenceville City website https://www.lawrencevillega.org/purchasing . A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Lawrenceville City Hall located at 70 South Clayton Street, 4th floor City Council Chambers, Lawrenceville, GA.30046.
