The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Scinomix for the purchase of an equipment maintenance agreement. The Government desires o obtain a maintenance agreement for Scinomix brand systems in the Division of Laboratory Sciences. This maintenance agreement will serve to keep the systems running optimally, while eliminating costly repairs due to damaged or malfunctioning equipment. The anticipated period of performance is 08/01/2026 through 07/31/2031.



This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 12.102 and 41 U.S.C. § 1901 and 1903  (an interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals).



This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received prior to the date and time below will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
