AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-39L8 is for the procurement of 1,260 units of a screw assembly, panel, identified by NSN 5305-01-029-7160, with a delivery deadline of 163 days after order placement and a required delivery to the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The item is classified as a commercial item, and item unique identification is not required under DFARS 252.211-7003. Technical and quality requirements are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which takes precedence over other standards such as ASTM D3951 for packaging, while MIL-STD-129 dictates marking, labeling, and barcoding for shipment. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination using sampling methods prescribed by MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331, or equivalent zero-based plans, with zero non-conformances required unless otherwise stated, and unspecified attributes are treated as major. Packaging must comply with RP001 DLA packaging standards and palletization requirements, and all hazardous materials must be labeled per OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard unless exempt under specific federal statutes, with label samples requiring pre-award approval. Export control restrictions apply under ITAR or EAR, requiring adherence to DFARS 252.225-7048; only contractors with approved U.S./Canada Joint Certification Program certification, completed DLA export control training, and DLA authorization may access associated technical data. Cybersecurity compliance is mandatory under DFARS 252.204-7012 and 252.204-7020, requiring adherence to NIST SP 800-171 for safeguarding covered defense information, submission of assessment results to the Supplier Performance Risk System, and inclusion of subcontractor compliance data. The contract prohibits the use of hexavalent chromium and improper handling of hazardous materials, and restricts procurement from Communist China of U.S. Munitions List items. Compliance with employment verification, equal opportunity, anti-trafficking, whistleblower rights, and former official compensation rules is required. Invoicing must be submitted electronically via WAWF, and payment details, including DoDAACs and appropriation data, will be finalized upon award. The solicitation does not specify contract type, unit prices, or total
