AI Contract Overview
The contract solicits 59,000 units of hexagon head cap screws (NSN 5305-01-158-0832) under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-13KS, with delivery required 146 days after award to Barstow, CA, under FOB Origin terms. The item must comply with stringent military specifications including MIL-STD-130N for physical identification marking, MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, and MIL-STD-129 for labeling and barcoding, including mandatory Data Matrix codes. Thread dimensions for Class 3A and 3B threads must conform to System 22 of FED-STD-H28/20, excluding very small threads, and sampling follows MIL-STD-1916 or a comparable zero-based plan with zero non-conformances required for acceptance unless otherwise stated. All items must be packaged in unit packs using dry preservation methods with no cushioning or wrap materials, palletized per DLA’s RP001 requirements, and marked with government identification unless removed per RQ011. The contract enforces cybersecurity compliance at CMMC Level 2 through either self-assessment or a certified third-party assessment, and requires adherence to safeguarding requirements for covered defense information under FAR 52.240-93. Quality control mandates manufacturers and non-manufacturers to meet tailored higher-level quality requirements, and all supplies must be free of prior government markings upon delivery. The contract includes multiple FAR clauses related to employment eligibility, trafficking prevention, sustainable products, hazardous materials labeling per 29 CFR 1910.1200, small business representations, and accelerated payments to subcontractors, with deviations applied to several clauses citing 2026-00038.
