AI Contract Overview
The contract calls for the procurement of seven units of a close tolerance screw, identified by NSN 5305-01-472-5295 and part number PBF1570T4-33L, to be delivered to the Defense Distribution Depot in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The delivery timeframe is specified as 171 days from the award date, with a required ship date of August 18, 2026, and a final delivery deadline of September 29, 2026. The items will be packaged according to ASTM D3951 standards and MIL-STD-129 labeling, with palletization adhering to DLA’s packaging requirements. The inspection and acceptance points are both at the destination, ensuring compliance prior to final acceptance. This procurement incorporates detailed technical and quality requirements as outlined in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which take precedence over general packaging standards. Sampling and inspection will follow MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based sampling plans with strict attribute verification levels, especially given the critical application nature of the item. Government identification removal protocols apply to non-accepted supplies, and transportation and shipping arrangements align with specific DoD procedures. The contract is managed by the ASC Commodities Division of the Department of Defense, with contract administration and point of contact provided for vendor coordination.
