AI Contract Overview
This contract specifies the procurement of 192 hundred (HD) machine screws identified by NSN 5305-00-206-2510 and part number MS35215-55, governed by technical and quality requirements from the DLA Master List and referenced standards including NASM35215 and FF-S-92E(1). The item is classified as a commercial item and must comply with MIL-STD-130N for identification marking, including government identifiers, manufacturer logos, lot numbers, and material designations, with no special marking required. Strict prohibitions are in place against the intentional addition of mercury or mercury compounds in the screw, its preservation, packaging, or marking, with limited exceptions for functional components such as batteries or sensors as defined by NAVSEA, which must include secondary containment. Packaging and preservation must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E with QUP 001, preservation method 10, and no preservation or cushioning materials specified; intermediate containers are limited to ten per unit, with unit containers of type A1, and palletization must follow DLA’s RP001 requirements. All shipments must be marked per MIL-STD-129 with Data Matrix barcodes and delivered FOB destination to DLA Distribution Jacksonville, Florida, with a delivery window of 161 days after order issuance and a required ship date of January 26, 2027. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination under a zero non-conformance sampling plan using MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based methods, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. The contract incorporates numerous FAR and DFARS clauses covering equal opportunity, trafficking in persons, cybersecurity safeguarding, hazardous materials, subcontracting, defective pricing, and compliance with NIST SP 800-171 for protected information. Contractors must affirm their small business status and provide UEI and CAGE codes where applicable, particularly for joint ventures or suppliers of covered defense telecommunications equipment. Electronic invoicing through WAWF is mandatory, and all submissions must be made via the DIBBS portal by August 17, 2026. No pricing details are available in the documentation, and the contract type remains unspecified, though it is structured as a fixed-price procurement with no quantity var
