The contract involves the award of a sole source agreement to EDGE TECH Marine by the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego to procure a Seabird FastCAT CTD Sensor along with its cable and interface box, which are essential for the COMSUBPAC DET Arctic Submarine Laboratory’s NAVSEA-approved TempAlt Packages. The contract is governed by FAR regulations, specifically under authority that allows negotiation with only one source, and the delivery terms are FOB destination with a four-week lead time.
