Request for Proposal (RFP) N00167-18-R-0012 is being issued by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) for modification of the existing backup power configuration at the Southeast Alaska Acoustic Measurement Facility (SEAFAC) Detachment located in Ketchikan, Alaska. As the current backup power configuration only allows for electric power to be provided to on-shore facilities during a power outage, the subject requirement is necessary to enable the system to provide backup power from shore-side generators to both on-shore facilities and offshore barges in the event of a utility power failure. The subject solicitation is anticipated to result in the award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) supply contract. Offers shall be evaluated on a "Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable (LPTA)" basis, taking in to consideration past performance. The drawings referenced in this solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to contractors' appointed data custodian(s) that are registered with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) Joint Certification Program (JCP). Contractors that are not registered with the DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. The solicitation and associated references/attachments are available as attachments to this FBO Website posting. Any/all proposal submissions must be received prior to the solicitation closing date/time of 2:00 PM Pacific Time on 15 June 2018, unless a different date is specified on Page 1 of the RFP. Offerors wishing to submit a proposal are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from the FBO Website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the solicitation. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, and no telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically-posted RFP and any associated amendments prior to the date and time identified for receipt of proposals may render the offeror's submission nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Any/all questions must be submitted in writing via email to Ms. Gracie Johnson at gracie.johnson@navy.mil at least five (5) days prior to the RFP closing date. **NOTE: PER RFP AMENDMENT 0001 (DATED 25 MAY 2018), INTERESTED PARTIES SHALL PROVIDE NOTIFICATION OF DESIRED SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE NO LATER THAN 30 MAY 2018. See the posted amendment for required information and points of contact for notification submission. The Government is requesting that potential offerors provide notification of their intent to submit a proposal in response to the RFP, five days prior to the solicitation closing date via email to both Ms. Gracie Johnson at Gracie.Johnson@navy.mil and Ms. Heather Valiga at Heather.Valiga@navy.mil. This notification of intent is not a requirement of the solicitation. Any notification does not bind an offeror to submit a proposal, nor does failure to provide such notification prevent a potential offeror from submitting a proposal by the RFP-identified closing date/time.** **NOTE: RFP AMENDMENT 0002 (DATED 11 JUNE 2018) POSTED TO PROVIDE RFP REVISIONS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RESULTING FROM INDUSTRY QUESTIONS RECEIVED.**
