Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Seal Analytical, Inc., for the one-time purchase of preventative maintenance service and repair of one (1) AQ2 and two (2) AA3 instruments, in the amount of $11,850.00 for the Water Resources Department. The preventive maintenance is used to keep the instruments at optimal performance for the timely reporting of data that helps monitor the daily health of the drinking water. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(15) of the County’s Procurement Policy as the maintenance, services, parts, and warranties are for existing equipment and systems, provided by the original equipment manufacturers and only reasonably available from Seal Analytical, Inc. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly. Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached Vendor Quote No. 27650, dated April 26, 2024, must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project. After this date, an award will be made.
