OBJECTIVES OF THE REQUIREMENT Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a requirement for the provision of Waste Management Services including the collection, removal and disposal of general trash, recyclable cardboard bins and wood bins in accordance with attached site plans, from the Canadian Coast Guard Base located 2501 Seal Cove road. This service will include the supply of garbage containers complete with closable lids. Each container must be clearly identified for the contents permissible to be deposited. All containers must be in good condition, no serious external damage, no perforations due to corrosion, all components in good working order. MANDATORY SITE VISIT Mandatory site visit will be on December 10th, 2025 at 09:00 am local time. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than December 8th, 2025 at 04:00 PM local time to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The period of contract shall be from Contract award to March 31, 2028. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year period under the same conditions.
