Search and Rescue Exterior Building Replacement at Burgeo, Newfoundland

The requirement, the Burgeo CCG SAR building envelope revitalization consist of the replacement of some exterior windows, exterior doors, air infiltration barriers, insulation, siding and roofing revitalization on all the CCG SAR operations building, the shared boat storage building, and small storage shed. Existing siding to remain if condition allows and any new siding will match existing color. The Burgeo CCG Search and Rescue (SAR) Buildings are located at 99a Reach Road Burgeo, NL . This facility was constructed in 2004 and consists of a two-story wood framed SAR Operations Building. The first level of the SAR building houses office space, Radio/Operations room, other support space and a garage. The second level houses staff accommodations. There is a separate boat storage building approximated 164 meters squared and small storage shed approximately 10 meters squared. The Burgeo Lifeboat station operates 12 months of the year. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by October 31st, 2024 DFO-CCG is expecting to launch an Invitation to Tender (ITT) following this Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
