Second Amendment to the Riverside County Information Technology Department (RCIT) Chicago Lease Agreement with JS MCA Hunter Park LP, Riverside

The County of Riverside is entering into a Second Amendment to a lease agreement with JS MCA Hunter Park LP for a data center facility located at 1960 Chicago Avenue, Building F, Suite R-1, Riverside, California. This 23,477 square-foot office facility has been utilized by the Riverside County Information Technology Department (RCIT) since December 16, 2013. The amendment extends the lease for a period of five years, commencing on December 16, 2028, to ensure the continued operation of the data center for public use. The project involves the continuation of existing space with no expansion of the physical footprint or increase in capacity. Due to the nature of the extension, the project is classified as categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class 1, and Section 15061(b)(3), as no significant direct or indirect environmental impacts are anticipated. Administrative oversight is managed by Riverside County Facilities Management, with Mike Sullivan serving as the Senior Environmental Planner and Jonathan Duey as the Deputy Director.
