The Government of Yukon, through the Transportation Aviation Branch, is conducting a second intake process to establish a Prequalification List (PQL) for qualified civil, electrical, and geotechnical engineers. This non-binding solicitation, identified as RFQ-2026-9-5558, seeks professionals to provide technical advisory, site investigations, design, tendering, and construction oversight and inspection services for aviation projects. The scope of work covers various remote northern communities and traditional territories within Yukon, including Whitehorse, Dawson City, and Watson Lake. Qualified firms will be categorized into three distinct areas of expertise: airport infrastructure development/redevelopment, airfield electrical, and geotechnical services. Evaluation is based on a point-based scoring system, requiring a minimum threshold of 54 points (60 percent) for qualification. Key criteria include past performance as a prime consultant on aerodrome projects and the professional qualifications of the project team, with a mandatory requirement that both the Project Lead and Project Engineer hold P.
